Bissell 2258B Cleanview Swivel Upright Multi-Cyclonic Vacuum for Homes with Pets with Automatic Cord Rewind, Washable Filter, Scatter-Free Technology and Edge-to-Edge Suction, Purple

This vacuum performs really well. It's not super light, but is easy enough to move around. Suctioning power can be adjusted and up until now all carpets are left spotless. It also comes with a few accessories/tools to reach other spots beyond the ground. The cord's length is adequate so it's reach is decent before you have to switch outlets. This purchase feels pretty fair quality/price-wise.

Suction is great!!! Grabbed all the dog hair in one pass. Easy to assemble, easy to use & easy to empty. Great price point!! So happy with this product. Highly recommend!

Bought this machine because we have many dogs. After two months, the belt started smoking. We had to disassemble the whole bottom to gain access to the belt. It was plugged with hair! It took about 15 minutes and a lot of poking around to finally remove the hair. This machine is supposed to be good for hair but it is the hair that plugs the belt. Poor design. Hair should not be anywhere the drive belt. A waste of money.

I like this Vacuum. The suction is good. when it arrived, I vacuumed my medium size bedroom and a kid room. The bucket got full. I emptied it and again vacuumed it, the bucket got half full almost. I got surprised to see this much dust, lint, and hair coming off as it was only one month my old vacuum stoped working. I am surprised, every time I vacuum, lot come out. I also love the feature that wire get stored with a one click button feature. No more handling the wire everywhere. Its been almost two months and I am seeing the same results. I hope suction stays the same strong all the time as thats the real thing you want from the vacuum, give a best results in sucking all the dust, pet hairs, dandruff and all the bad stuff out off your carpet.

Excellent Purchase - Very happy with the overall product and its capabilities. Suction 5/5 Swivel 4.5/5 Noise Level 4/5 Canister Volume 5/5 Attachment Durability 5/5 (unlike dysons) Overall Size - Average for a stand-up vacuum Wire Recall button - Quick to respond and yet, not aggressive in the recall pull so as not to get wiped or snapped at by the wire - which is always appreciated. Product Overall Weight - Standard *** That being said, if you have any wrist-to-shoulder issues like: Arthritis, Tennis Elbow, Carpal Tunnel - This unit may prove to be too heavy or approach too heavy when maneuvering angles and turns I have been a residential and commercial cleaner for more than 15years. I would happily rely on this product to give a solid and satisfactory result while on the job and at home. I have pets myself, and when considering new cleaning products for purchase, I like to make sure I can put them to the test. I am happy to report that my carpets, after a month of neglect, have come up remarkably clean and quickly with minimal passes as compared to my last unit, which died last month. It took on the grime of a teenage daughter with long, heavy locks, pet dander/fur, a toddler's crumbs, and two large boys' worth of dirt without any issues. The Bissell 2258B Cleanview Swivel Upright Multi-Cyclonic (Wow! what a mouthful), in my opinion, will be a reliable cleaning product for your family home, pet-friendly or not; it handles the mess and gets the job done Right.

Just tried this vacuum cleaner out. Easy to assemble. Suction excellent (I have three golden retriever's and carpeted floors.). Love that they have a push button cord rewind on it. Edging better than that on my old Bissell. The pet brush for furniture and carpeted stairs has been improved too. The vacuum cleaner is sturdy but light weight compared to my old one. Emptying of canister improved too. Just push a button and dump. And wow, the vacuum actually pulls dust and things like styrofoam beads on bare floors towards it rather than scatter them away. Very satisfied with this product. I expect it to last like my old one, which probably just needs a new roller brush. Time will tell.

I love many of the features on this. It has a really powerful suction that isn't too loud - standard. I love the different attachments that make it easier to use on stairs and furniture. There is a retractable cord for the wall plug, and it's easy to maneuver. The vacuum collection compartment is very easy to empty, and you're able to reduce the amount of dust shooting back up at you as you empty it into a trash can because it has a lid you can press open and closed with ease. I am taking off 1 star because I wish that the hose for the attachments was longer or more stretchy. It is quite short and strong, which will mean that it's more durable long term, but that means to do your stairs or furniture you have to have the entire vacuum right beside where you're working. This can be trickier and more annoying. I love how well it's able to remove pet hair from my stairs, so I wouldn't want to have to purchase another hand held vacuum just for that purpose, and not have the same result. The weight of the vacuum is pretty impressive for its power. I wouldn't say it's light, but much lighter than anything I've used with the same level of suction power. I would recommend this!
