I love it! I love not having to clean the dustbin every few days. It’s quiet and efficient, and I really appreciate the ability to choose which rooms to clean and which to skip. I chose this one over the one that mops because I prefer fewer things to malfunction.

Have it for a month now and it’s working really well. Havent even had to empty it yet since it crushes the dust. App works well.

Worked great upon first purchase. The Roomba had a very time docking and charging after about 8 months. When it does charge, it works well, but too often found that the battery was dead when wanting to use it.

This is the second Roomba I’ve purchased, this time for my parents, and it’s been totally worth it. They’re elderly and appreciate that the Roomba doesn’t need to be emptied often — that’s a huge plus for them. The dust compactor feature really makes a difference compared to their older model; it can go several cleanings before needing attention. It’s quiet, navigates well around furniture, and doesn’t get stuck as much as the older versions did. The setup was straightforward, and I love that I can check in or schedule cleanings for them through the app when I visit. It even does a surprisingly good job picking up pet hair and crumbs on both hardwood floors and carpets. If you’re buying for someone who values ease of use and minimal maintenance, this is a fantastic choice. It’s made my parents’ daily routine a little easier.

We have had 600 series vacuums before. They work great for pet hair. We tried an e6 and had to get rid of it as it does not do as good of a job a 600 series does. That being said, this is our first "new" one. We purchased a warehouse deal under the assumption that it was an unused scratch and dent model. Once I added it to my app it informed me that the roomba had done 26 jobs! No not an unused model, one that someone didn't like for some reason 🤔. So far nothing seems amiss with it so just assuming the previous Amazon customer just didn't like it and returned it? These 600 series are like little tanks and don't get clogged with dog hair like the e6 did. I look forward to using one that is pretty much brand new.

My Roomba 694 was purchased, on sale, in November '23. It's a lower end model, but I figured it would do the job for my 750 Sq. Ft. Condo. And it does a reasonable job. I remove most obstacles such as kitchen chairs, a leather foot stool in the living room, a bar stool at my pass through and a small fluff rug in the bathroom to help clear the way for the Roomba unit. But, this unit has a penchant for bumping into every corner it can find to help navigate itself. It soon started to raise a concern with me of potential minor damage. So to fix that I bought a roll of self sticking vinyl corner material and voila - problem solved. Next I encountered a problem with the unit wanting to climb the door sill to try and get onto the balcony. To solve this problem I could leave the balcony door shut or buy a pair of Roomba direction towers for about $60. I purchased the towers and solved another problem. But the worst problem with this unit is its inability to hold an internet connection. If I program the unit to start on its own to clean I keep getting error messages that it has lost connection which means I have to go through a weekly troubleshooting to solve this problem. Same with the unit trying to find its way home to the charging station. I sometimes find the unit dead somewhere in my condo as it keeps loosing the connection. I have tried numerous times to solve this problem with the service team at Roomba but to no avail. On my last call, after going through all sorts of tests, I asked the service rep to review this issue with a tech and reach out to me with a solution. Never a word from them. The home station is only 18 feet from my internet unit. I have a camera in my bedroom monitoring the hallway and entrance door which is on the same 2.4 signal and there is never a problem with it. Would I buy this again - no. Perhaps a more expensive unit might solve the problem? Stu

We have two white-haired dogs who shed hair constantly, creating 'drifts' around the house. Pros: Our floors are 90% wooden with some small carpeted areas and a little lino and the Roomba has no problems with any of them. It handles changes in levels between the older and newer sections of the house and deals with obstacles like chair legs and kids' shoes very well. We've had no problems with it picking up any objects or cables yet, though it is advisable to clear the floor of anything small, like LEGO. Cons: It is a lot noisier than I expected. The Roomba is designed to work when you're not in the house. It also takes a long time to return home if instructed - like 10+ minutes, but that might be a learning issue. It's early days, we've only had it for a few days, but it works as described.

If you're looking for no fuss, perfect, intelligent, hands-free... This model isn't for you. I'll tell you what it's good for, though. This model is perfect for the single millennial who can keep clutter off the floor and works too much to keep up with daily chores that improve quality of life. I've found that if you run this twice a day for 30- 40 minutes it'll vacuum a 1 bedroom apartment to satisfaction. It can't handle too much and it doesn't seek out dust intelligently it just runs around enough that it eventually picks everything up. It's loud but who cares? I recommend emptying the little bin once a day but it's nice because there's almost no recurring cost If it's well maintained. (No dust bags) Another thing. Pets. It cleans up after my birds; bird dust, seed husks and floofs rather well but intact seeds and pellets are 50/50. Hair/fur: amazing. I didn't even know I had so much on my floor until I checked the bin on my 694. And I had just swept before running it. Leaving it alone to clean: this isn't the model I'd leave alone at home to clean. It gets stuck on rugs and then you are at work while its battery slowly dies lol but if you run it relatively close to coming home it might clean enough and you'll be able yo rescue it from the rugs. Overall for the price though. It's good. It will keep your floor clean. It is cheap. It feels like having a helper around guilt free. It's nice.

It is not worth 600 bucks. I bought it on sale for 290 and that is a fair price since it bumps into everything and gets lost. You can tell the algorithm it used to move around, if it it at a table or chair leg it does a 360 circle then goes on in a random direction and if it hits a wall it does a 90 degree turn etc. Will have trouble finding a home base even with wifi but for a small apartment it does wonders. I occasionally get notified it is stuck or something when I run it away from home but I come home and find it and move it myself which is still better than vacuuming myself. It has great suction and a 90 minute battery and have big wheels that are strong enough to move a whole kitchen chair if it gets stuck. Fairly loud so I set the app to run when I leave home and it uses my phones location and starts when I go out. If you have a large space or lots of stuff on your floors I recommend the 900 dollar one with mapping but I have a one bedroom with hardly any clutter and very rectangular floor layout so it is great. I run it every day and its awesome.
