I previously bought a 43” roku tv for my bedroom. I really liked it, so when it was time to upgrade my living room tv, i went with the 55” roku. I like how the remotes are interchangeable between both tv’s (my toddler likes to hide them) also the roku mobile app makes navigating around on your tv much faster. Very happy with my purchase!

This replaced a Sharp that went south after 4 years. At least its remote was sync'd to my cable box remote. This TV needs both remotes to turn on and off plus you have to select cable box at every start. I miss the one remote, one button on and off. Volume and mute buttons are annoyingly on the side means you adjust the volumes controls every time you pick up the very poorly ergonomically designed remote.

After 10 weeks the remotes no longer turn the TV on. I have 2 that will usually both work. Neither will now turn the TV on, although the red light is showing that power is there on the set. New batteries in both remotes. No physical switch. Phoned the 'help' line and was told to do a few basic things, then told to unplug the set, then plug it in again. The set is over a fireplace, fairly high on a shelf too narrow to turn the set. The power and signal outlets are both on the wall behind the TV. I explained that both my husband and I are in our 80's with mobility issues and not strong enough to lift the set down, so are unable to unplug it. I was told to get a neighbour to help. We live in a seniors' complex. If we drop it, will they pay for the damage? He refused to send out a technician out until this was done. We now have a very expensive blank screen.
