SAMSUNG 55-Inch Mini LED QN80F Neo QLED 4k Smart TV, AI Gen 2 Processor, Neo Quantum HDR, 144Hz, Q-Symphony, FreeSync Premium Pro, Dolby Atmos, Gaming Hub – [QN55QN80FAFXZC] [Canada] (2025)

We absolutely love our new Samsung TV. The old Samsung we had was 18 years old and it finally gave up to ghost this new TV was very easy to set up very user-friendly the colour the quality the sound amazing

Opened up my brand new tv only to be disappointed by a 15cm x 10cm dark spot on the screen. Now it is my problem and hassles to get this defective product returned…

Wow just wow! This is an amazing television. The picture is like being there watching live. Crisp, clean and no distortion or fuzziness. Sound is great too without soundbar but I have the soundbar installed for the surround sound experience. Delivery was fast and packaged well. Super pleased.

Fast delivery and payment option made the difference in my purchase. Delivered to my door saved me from grappling with the box by myself from a store or car. The TV lives up to the reviews. Easy to set up and add my own devices to the mix. The single pedestal also has cable guides for your connections and wall mounted applications. It’s sturdy on my tv bench. The image is great and even with OTA tv signals provided great quality. The audio is also very good and prompted me to research the specs for the speaker type, placement and acoustical design. Enough full range sound for any condo or apartment unit. The ultra lows from adding a sub-woofer would just bug neighbours, in my opinion. Be sure to update your firmware to ensure you have the latest version that tightens up the image engine etc for better accuracy and new interface features. That said, the navigation and ease of use in menus is very good. The QN90F model is worth the extra cost with features you can appreciate over the lifecycle of the TV.

One week in and very happy with this 55” , top of the line, Smart TV. A huge step up from our old Samsung 43”, I would encourage others with older TVs to make the investment and ‘future proof’ your viewing - and listening - experience. A worthwhile investment! Excellent colours, brightness, definition, and sound, making our medium sized living room cinema-like. Set up was easy, quickly plugged in a LAN cable from the wifi box, and a HDMI from the cable box, then just downloaded the app, created a free Samsung account, and logged into each of my streaming services which now all appear on the home menu. No longer a need for the Apple TV box, the hardware is incorporated in this new unit, same for some other streaming ‘sticks’ I believe. The home menu launches instantly and logging into streaming services from the home menu is much much quicker than our old smart tv, thanks to the fast processor. Remote can recharge via USB or solar, and it’s easy to use. Given our medium sized living room and the 60 watt speaker system built into this premium TV we are not likely to need a separate soundbar and woofer, partially offsetting the cost of the TV. I recommend this Samsung product.

PROS: Very good TV, not the best I've seen, but still very good all around. Excellent sound for TV speakers. 4K content, and animated movies have amazing picture quality! Great blacks. Picture presets are good but some are almost unrealistic, so I am running it on movie picture quality which offers warmer colors. Remote presets - Netflix, YouTube, Prime are nice to have. CONS: AI picture settings are not the best. Upscaling YouTube and Netflix is just ok. The whole TV bends when lifted, there is no rigidity. 25kg (50lbs) out of the box.

I recently upgraded to the SAMSUNG 55-Inch QN90F Neo QLED 4K Smart TV, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I turned it on, the picture quality blew me away. The Mini LED backlighting combined with Neo Quantum HDR+ delivers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and an incredible level of detail—even in the brightest or darkest scenes. One standout feature is the Glare-Free Panel. Even in a bright room with lots of natural light, there are no distracting reflections, and the image remains crystal clear. The Neo Slim Design is sleek and modern, adding a stylish touch to any space without being bulky.Smart features are robust as expected—fast interface, voice control, and easy access to all major streaming apps. Setup was quick and intuitive, and the remote is streamlined and user-friendly.Overall, this TV is a powerhouse. Cons: Premium price point (but worth it for what you get). Whether you're into movies, sports, or gaming, the QN90F offers a cinematic experience at home. Highly recommended!

Great TV and good update from my previous Q90A. Still the best gaming TV with its brightness and vibrance and anti-glare. This TV is capable of being pushed up to 165 hz which will give it longevity because nothing pushes up to 165 yet as far as TV channels or gaming consoles but no doubt will in the future. However if used as your gaming pc monitor, 165 can happen. Either way, TV looks great and is very compatible with most video and game and audio enhancements. Better implication of Dolby Atmos. Great HDR and game mode too. Overall great price level for a cadillac model of a QLED. If you watch or game in a room with bright lighting level or sun glare, this TV is a must.
